“Faith has always been a very important part of my life. It has played a big role in my athletic life, where I chose to go to school, and most importantly my family life,” Frelick said.

Frelick's ascent to professional baseball did not diminish his commitment to his faith. Upon joining the Milwaukee Brewers, he continued to embody the principles instilled in him during his formative years. Notably, the morning after the Brewers clinched the National League Central Division championship in mid-September 2024, instead of indulging in rest after the celebrations, Frelick chose to visit children at a local hospital.
"As a Catholic, it comes back to being a good human being," he told the Milwaukee Catholic Herald. "I love giving back to the community, and as a kid, I looked up to players who did that."
On the field, Frelick is often seen wearing a crucifix beneath his uniform, a subtle yet powerful testament to his enduring faith. He expressed a desire for people to recognize this symbol.
"I want people to see I’m wearing it," he said. "I really want people to know that I have faith."
A Role Model for the Community

His involvement with the Lexington High School unified basketball team, where he has provided support and resources, underscores his dedication to inclusivity and service.
